Dr. Sourabh Lonare
BDS, MDS (Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics)
Dr. Sourabh has completed his Bachelor’s degree from Sinhgad Dental College & Hospital, Pune and passed out in the year 2013. After practising 2 years of dental practice in pune, he further pursued his MDS degree from Yashwantrao Chavan Dental college, Ahmednagar and passed out in the year 2018.
He has been working as an Consulting Endodontist (Root canal specialist) over 4 years in Pune and visits over 40 clinics in pune.
After completing 4 years as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Endodontics at Yashwantrao Chavan Dental College, Ahmednagar, he is now being promoted to Assistant professor or Reader in the same department.
He is further a member of IDA (Indian Dental association) and Indian Endodontic Society.
He has performed the research study on the topic “A comparative evaluation of debris and smear layer remaining in root canal following use of Protaper, oneshape and self adjusting file systems – An In-vitro SEM study.“
He has been awarded the 1st position for the poster presentation on the topic “ Microscopic Dentistry” at 17th IACDE-IES PG Convention held in Bhopal. He has got his review article published in (IOSR Journal of Dental and Medical Sciences (IOSR-JDMS) in Nov 2016 with the title – Advances in Glass Ionomer Cement (GIC) – A Review.
He is well worsed with Root Canal Treatments of wisdom teeth, Re-Root Canal Treatment, Apicoectomy, bypass procedures in case of file breakage, Reimplantation of Teeth, Esthetic Corrections using Laminates and Veneers, etc
He has completed the certification course of Root Canal Treatments under Endodontic Microscope being the most recent technique now-a-days in dentistry.
Dr. Shubhada Kasat
BDS, MDS (Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry)
Dr. Shubhada has completed her Bachelor’s degree from Yashwantrao Chavan Dental college, Ahmednagar and passed out in the year 2016. She further pursued her MDS degree from Surendera Dental College and Research Institute, Sriganganagar and passed out in the year 2020.
She has been working as an Consulting Pedodontist (Child specialist) in Pune and visits over 25 clinics in pune.
She is further a member of IDA (Indian Dental Association), Indian Society of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry (ISPPD) and South Asian Association of Pediatric Dentistry (SAAPD).
She has performed the research study on the topic “ A comparative evaluation of effect of intracanal medicaments on the sealing ability of MTA and Hydroxyapatite apical plug – An In-Vitro Study.”
She is well worsed with Root Canal Treatments of Pediatric Patients both with behaviour modification techniques and under conscious sedation and General Anesthesia, Management of Traumatic Dental Injuries, minor dental surgical procedures, esthetic corrections, etc. She has completed the Certification Course on NOIS – Nitrous Oxide Inhalation Sedation – Laughing gas therapy used in children in dental practice as a Behaviour Modification Technique in the 17th ISPPD National PG Convention (Pedovention) – held in Mahatma Gandhi Dental College, Jaipur in 2020.
