INDICATIONS FOR RCT –
Tooth pain that doesn’t go away on its own and relieved on having medications
Severe Sensitivity to heat and cold if the pain lingers for more than a few seconds.
Swelling or pimple or boil on the gums : When a tooth is infected, pus can collect in the area. This can lead to puffy, swollen or tender gums.
Swollen jaw: Sometimes pus doesn’t drain from the site. As a result, your jaw may become visibly swollen.
Tooth discoloration occurs because of poor blood supply to the tooth.
A chipped or cracked tooth
Loose tooth: An infected tooth may feel looser as the pus from the infected pulp can soften the bone that supports the tooth.

Dental Crowns, Crown and Bridge, Inlays and Onlays
Dental crown –
The crown is placed over an existing damaged tooth and is cemented in place. Crowns may be an ideal solution for you if you have a damaged tooth that cannot be easily restored with fillings or dental bonding.
Why Is a Dental Crown Needed?
A dental crown may be needed in the following situations:
To protect a weak tooth (for instance, from decay) from breaking or to hold together parts of a cracked tooth
To restore an already broken tooth or a tooth that has been severely worn down
To cover and support a tooth with a large filling when there isn’t a lot of tooth left
To hold a dental bridge in place
To cover misshapen or severely discoloured teeth
To cover a dental implant
To make a cosmetic modification
What Types of Crowns Are Available?
Permanent crowns can be made from stainless steel, all metal (such as gold or another alloy), porcelain-fused-to-metal or all ceramic (Zirconia)
What is a dental bridge?
While a crown is used to cover an existing tooth, a dental bridge is used to fill in the missing space caused by one or more lost teeth. A bridge is made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap; these two or more anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth and a false tooth/teeth in between is called pontic and can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination of these materials. Dental bridges are supported by natural teeth or implants.
What Are the Benefits of Dental Bridges?
Bridges can:
Restore your smile
Restore the ability to properly chew and speak
Maintain the shape of your face
Distribute the forces in your bite properly by replacing missing teeth
Prevent remaining teeth from drifting out of position.
What are Dental Inlays & Onlays ?
Partial coverage inlays and onlays are a more conservative restorative solution than a full coverage dental crown as only a minimal amount of tooth structure needs to be removed. A dental inlay sits ‘in’ the tooth while a dental onlay is placed ‘on’ or over the tooth.
Inlays are designed to be used on moderately broken down or worn teeth. Whereas onlays are designed to replace more of the tooth for even greater protection. Inlays and onlays are designed to be used in areas where the forces of chewing and grinding are high such as premolar and molar teeth. Inlays and onlays are also used to repair teeth that have cracked or sustained minor damage in an accident or sporting injury.
Teeth Cleaning and Teeth Whitening
TEETH CLEANING & POLISHING –
Teeth cleaning is done to get rid of plaque and tartar or stains buildup on your teeth.
What Happens During the Procedure?
Oral evaluation for the amount of tartar or stains or calculus deposits onto teeth.
Remove plaque and tartar using an ultrasonic scaler to dislodge the deposits around your teeth and gums.
Polishing of Teeth – Application of prophylactic paste on your teeth and rubber cups or brush is used to polish your teeth.
Application of Fluoride Gel
TEETH WHITENING –
The procedure entails a group of procedures that remove teeth stains caused by smoking, drinking coffee, intrinsic stains due to fluorosis or in swimmers due to excess chlorine in water. This type of procedures is mainly done for cosmetic and aesthetic purposes.
PROCEDURE – First the dental team will put a rubber shield or a gel on your gums to protect them. They will then apply the whitening product to your teeth, using a specially made tray which fits into your mouth like a mouthguard.
The ‘active ingredient’ in the product is usually hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide. As the active ingredient is broken down, oxidative reaction with the enamel makes tooth color lighter.
What other procedures are there?
There is now laser whitening or ‘power whitening’. During this procedure a rubber dam is put over your teeth to protect the gums, and a bleaching product is painted onto your teeth. Then a light or laser is shone on the teeth to activate the chemical. The light speeds up the reaction of the whitening product and the color change can be achieved more quickly. Laser whitening is said to make teeth up to five or six shades lighter.
Orthodontic correction using Metal or Ceramic Braces
Orthodontic treatment is a way of straightening or moving teeth, to improve the appearance of the teeth and how they work. It can also help to look after the long-term health of your teeth, gums and jaw joints, by spreading the biting pressure over all your teeth.
Why Should I Get Align my teeth?
Apart from aesthetics, most people are not really bothered about their crooked teeth. Here are a few conditions that need a wire on your teeth:
Overbite:
When your upper front teeth overlap your lower front teeth by more than 2mm, you have an overbite, which requires orthodontic treatment.
Crossbite: In an ideal scenario, your upper teeth lie buccally(towards the cheek side) in comparison to your lower teeth. In some cases, however, the lower teeth overlap the upper teeth, a condition known as a crossbite that can be corrected with proper dental correction treatment.
Open Bite: If your upper teeth fail to overlap your lower teeth, the condition is called an open bite and requires orthodontic correction.
Misplaced midline: When the Centre of your upper front teeth does not line up with the Centre of your lower front teeth.
Spacing: In ideal cases, adult teeth do not show spaces between them. However, due to a mismatch in jaw-to-tooth size or missing teeth, there is often an unnatural spacing between teeth that requires orthodontic correction.
Crowding:
When there is crowding of teeth, it can cause many dental issues like cavities, food lodgement, gum infections and poor aesthetics.
Forwardly placed teeth: Due to jaw development issues, it can result in the forwardly placed upper or lower jaw, and subsequently the teeth. If left untreated, this condition can result in many dental issues.
What are the benefits of correct teeth alignment and Braces?
Efficient chewing of food
Improvement of speech
Improvement in dental hygiene
Ease of maintaining good oral hygiene
Reduced risk of cavities and gum diseases.
Reduced attrition or grinding of teeth
Corrects protrusion of teeth, which are a higher risk of trauma
Improves smile that helps boost confidence and self-esteem
Types of Dental Braces –
It includes metallic and ceramic variants.
Both Metallic and ceramic variants are of 2 types :
1. Conventional Braces and
2. Self-ligating braces
1.Conventional braces: Conventional braces use metal brackets bonded to the front of each tooth and anchored together with an archwire. Archwires have been designed with shape memory to apply gentle pressure throughout the duration of treatment. Also elastics are placed around each bracket to hold the archwire in place and are available in different colors.
2.Self-Ligating braces: Self-ligating braces have no elastic ties. Instead, brackets or clips hold the wires in place. This keeps self-ligating braces always active and moving teeth at a faster pace. Traditional braces have to be tightened with the elastic ties every 4 to 6 weeks.
Advantages of self-ligating variant over conventional metal includes:
Lesser Friction
The reduced amount of friction with self-ligating clear braces means that the deterioration of the enamel and teeth is lesser.
Ease of Cleaning
As compared to traditional braces, these braces have fewer add-ons and parts, which leaves very few places for plaque to build in.Reduced Pressure
The pressure is distributed more evenly throughout the teeth and the self-ligating system is less painful and less intense as a result of it.Aesthetics
The clear brackets blend in with the natural colour of your teeth, which makes it less revealing and has an improved aesthetical look.Quicker Treatment
The average time of treatment is 30% shorter than the time taken using traditional braces.
Disadvantages of self-ligating braces:
1. More Expensive compared to conventional braces
2.Mild Irritation: Even though it is relatively discomfort-free during most of the treatment, some patients may experience an adjustment period initially after the braces have been placed. Mouth sores are caused on rare occasions due to friction with the braces.

Dental Extractions and minor oral surgical procedures
A tooth extraction is the permanent removal of a tooth from its socket and may be done manually using forceps or surgically. Extraction is recommended when the tooth cannot be saved with other treatments such as root canal treatment and to prevent infection from spreading to other areas of your mouth.
Minor oral surgical procedures – It is usually performed for removal of badly broken down teeth or impacted teeth that cannot be removed specially third molars or canines or for the removal of any oral pathological lesions or enucleation of cystic lesions like Radicular, Dentigerous cyst, etc. It also includes apical surgery & removal of soft tissue lesions like mucocele, ranula, high labial or lingual frenum etc. All these procedures can be performed manually or with electrocautery or using soft tissue laser.
Our dental clinic offers minor oral surgical procedures that are fast and comfortable. Our experienced team of surgeons use state-of-the-art technology and techniques to ensure you receive the highest level of care. From wisdom teeth removal to jaw surgery, we understand that these procedures can be daunting, but rest assured that you’re in good hands with us.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are currently dentistry’s best and long-lasting solution to missing teeth and slipping dentures.
An implant is a tiny screw made of biocompatible material like titanium that replaces the root of a missing tooth.
Procedure – Firstly getting an customized treatment plan. Next, the implant screw is placed into the bone socket of the missing tooth. As the jawbone heals, it grows around the implant, anchoring it securely in the jaw. The healing process can take from s6-12 weeks. Once the implant has bonded to the jawbone, a small connector post called an abutment is attached to the post to securely hold the new tooth over which the crown is cemented. Dental implants have a success rate of up to 98%. With proper oral hygiene maintenance, implants can last a lifetime.
How Painful Are Dental Implants?
Most people who have undergone dental implants say that there is very little discomfort involved in the procedure. Local anesthesia is used during the procedure, and most patients report that implants involve less pain than a tooth extraction.
How Do I Care for Dental Implants?Dental implants require the same care as real teeth, including brushing, flossing, rinsing with an antibacterial mouthwash, and regular dental check-ups.
Smile Designing using Laminates and Veneers
Complete or Removable Partial Denture
A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues.
Two types of dentures are available complete and partial dentures.
Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.
What are the different types of dentures?
Complete Dentures: Complete dentures are made of a rigid acrylic or a type of thermoplastic (nylon) polymer that acts as a denture base to replicate gum tissue and supports a full set of acrylic or porcelain teeth. T Retention of a complete denture benefits from both sub-pressure and adherence to the underlying tissue. Sub-pressure will occur between the denture base and oral mucosa if they are attached close to each other and a good peripheral seal is applied. A peripheral seal is the tight contact formed by the marginal surface of the denture with the oral mucosa. Implant supported overdenture: The conventional or traditional denture can also be held in place by attaching to dental implants that are surgically placed in the bone of the jaws instead of depending on the peripheral seal between the denture and oral mucosa .This treatment is much more expensive than the traditional complete denture.
Partial Dentures: Partial dentures can either be made with an acrylic base or a metal framework that supports the number of teeth that need to be replaced. It is held in the mouth by using clasps and rests that are carefully adapted around the natural teeth. The partial denture that uses a metal framework is the traditional design, due to the rigidity and strength of the metal. Acrylic partial dentures have normally been used now-a-days as a replacement of missing teeth.
Mouth guards or Night guards
Don’t let teeth grinding or participation in contact sports damage your teeth. Our custom-fit mouth guards and night guards offer the ultimate protection for your teeth. With a design that prioritizes both comfort and safety, our guards will have you feeling confident in your oral health.
